he first releases of Nautitech 441 & 442 took place in the water of La Rochelle in the beginning of November. Now it’s time to get acquainted with them more closer. Developed from the basis of the superb and well-known Nautitech 44, the builder has created two catamarans with very different characters. If you are looking for a yacht for a long distance autonomous journeys, this new catamarans are constructed especially for you.
Nautitech 441 is the boat with a single wheel on the roof and its manoeuvres are carried out from the helm station. The catamaran has an innovative roof water recovery system, which is very significant in long distances sailing. The saline test after the first rainfall can be carried out either manually or automatically via a dedicated reservoir with a 400 litre capacity. Also you can fix solar panels to the roof, thus increasing the autonomy of the boat during long crossings.
The standard version can accommodate 10 passengers with 4 double cabins and 2 convertible fore peaks. There is also a “Owner” version of this catamaran with a hull apartment which includes 1 large cabin, 1 office come library in the passage-way, one large bathroom (2 washbasins) and a shower separated from it by an elegant opaque glass door.
Nautitech 442 has 2 steering wheels and is designed for long voyages par excellence. The catamaran is swift and easy to manoeuvre with a limited crew. It also has the water recovery system and solar panels integrated into the roof. The catamaran is available in 3-cabin version: the owner is given a large cabin with more storage space, a desk area and a bathroom with 2 washbasins and a completely separate shower. This is the perfect choice for the family of 4 to 6.
So, on the one hand, the Nautitech 442, with its traditional aft helmsman’s seats, and on the other, the brand new 441, which now has a steering position against the coachroof, sufficiently raised to give a good view forward, whilst remaining protected in the case of bad weather. All you have to do is choose…
